Oh my, while on my last visit I was able to visit Sweetheart Bakery again. Talk about not being disappointing, I couldn't not have been more pleased! The customer service was spot on as soon as I entered the small bakery and the cupcakes, red velvet and strawberry/vanilla batter were outstanding! Also, if you enjoy soft chewy peanut butter cookies, it's a must have. So, if you are on the East side of Detroit and you want a hidden gem, Sweetheart Bakery is the spot for you! Enjoy!!!
Went for snowballs and left with cookies, cake and bread! All the best and still thriving. This bakery is a classic, with perfect buttercream and the best butter cookies in the country! Hands-down. The best!

Sweetheart Bakery did our wedding cake and dessert table and our guests talk about how good it was every time we see them! The whole staff was friendly, prompt, and saw our vision of our cake perfectly. Truly professional and passionate about their work. Our dessert spread included cupcakes, mini cake, Eclairs, cannolis, and macaroons. They were such a hit and the cupcake filling was to die for.
